Returns + Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We will be happy to accept returns within 21 days of purchase as long as the tags are still attached, item is unworn, and free of any makeup or deodorant stains. 
Returned items will be issued a refund for the purchase price, not including shipping costs. Please include your invoice in the shipment or we will be unable to process your return.
Items returned after the 21 day policy will not be refunded, and will be shipped back to you at your expense. 
Returns must be issued as credit to the original form of payment. If this is not possible, returns will be issued in the form of store credit. 

Items marked as Final Sale cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.  For any questions, please contact lori@shopcouturecottage.com

What is your policy for damaged items?

Damages must be reported to lori@couturecottage.com within 3 days of receiving merchandise or they cannot be returned. 

Can I exchange my purchase? 

We can not facilitate exchanges since our inventory changes daily and we cannot guarantee item availability.

How should I package my return? 

You are free to return you item(s) in the original packaging or whatever packaging you choose. Your invoice from the original order MUST be included.
Shoes must be returned in their original box and placed inside an additional shipping box for protection. Damage to the shoe box makes the shoes ineligible for returns. Shoe boxes received in poor condition will be shipped back to you and are subject to return shipping costs. 

What if my package is refused or not delivered?

Refused or undeliverable packages are subject to return shipping costs that vary by shipping method used in the original order. 
Overnight and 2nd Day Air: $18.00 return cost 
3 Day Shipping and Ground Shipping: $7.00 return cost
If you choose not to have your order re-delivered, we can refund you the cost of the items, but the original shipping cost and the undeliverable charge from the carrier will be deducted from the refund as well as a 20% restocking fee. 

How do I change or cancel my order? 

If you need to make any changes to your order, please call us at 260-459-3458 immediately after making your purchase. Customer service is available Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM EST.  Once your order has been processed, it is unable to be modified. We are not able to modify orders placed before price changes.  Orders cannot be cancelled after they have begun processing.
